There were eight races run and, once again, the creative names added to the festivity of the evening…

Various Bishop Ready sports teams named horses. Can you guess which team sponsored each horse? 
Suicide Squeeze, Nothin’ but Net, Focus & Finish, Back Row Attack, Between the Sticks, Slam Dunk, Narrowing the Angle, Head & Shoulder Lead, and Full Count Filly.

Other names included:
Lanzalot, All Dressed Up, The Stone Cutter, Diggin’ Deep for the Win, Gwhiz, Golden Blaze, Eramo Express, Mane Event, A Knight in White Satin, Quick Silver, Mezinator, Getting Down to Business, Ride a Painted Pony, Black Smoke Nope, White Smoke Pope, Soonbglu, Marty’s Boy, and MetalMan.

Held at Darby House at Darby Dan Farms, the event benefited the students at Bishop Ready High School and saw 250 people come together for a fun-filled evening. There were eight races, a silent auction, a Derby Hat Contest, buffet dinner catered by Cameron Mitchell Catering, and a Kentucky Bourbon Tasting… Check back later for news about next year’s event…it’s an evening that is not to be missed!
