Congratulations to sophomore Joey Smith who placed first in the Intermediate Category at the Chinese Speech Contest held at Cleveland State University on Saturday, May 11.  Joey is in the Mandarin III Class at Bishop Ready, having studied the language since his sixth grade year at Trinity Elementary School.  Kudos to Joey and to Fanghong Yu, who teaches Mandarin at Ready.
