CCP Updates - TIME SENSITIVE

Guidance / Guidance

The University of Findlay and Urbana/Franklin have updated their CCP policy for this year due to the current COVID-19 situation.

University of Findlay update:

1. The withdrawal date for a CCP course has been extended to April 24th.  Withdrawing from a CCP course will be noted on the University's transcript as a "W".  Students wanting to withdraw from a CCP course must notify their teacher, Guidance, and the UF CCP coordinator (Rebecca Hillman)  hillman@findlay.edu.

2. CCP UF students have the option to select a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory as opposed to a traditional letter grade.  This option allows students to receive credit if they receive a "Satisfactory" designation with no GPA calculation.  Students electing this option for a specific CCP course must again notify their teacher, Guidance, and the UF CCP coordinator (Rebecca Hillman)  hillman@findlay.edu no later than April 24, 2020.

Urbana/Franklin University update:

1.  CCP Urbana/Franklin students have the option of selecting a Pass/No Credit option as opposed to a traditional letter grade.  This option allows students to receive credit if they receive a "Pass" designation with no GPA calculation.  Students electing this option for a specific CCP course must contact the Urbana/Franklin university office at ccplus@urbana.edu to request a form to start the process.  This form will include information on potential consequences in selecting the P/NC option from the college perspective. Forms need to be sent to the following email address ccplus@urbana.edu by May 1, 2020.

*Students withdrawing from a CCP course need to understand that the course will revert to an honors designation unless it is an AP (Advanced Placement) course.  If choosing a P/NC or S/Un option, students will still be graded using the college scale or methodology.  If they receive a P or S in the course, it will not be counted in their GPA.  However, receiving a Un/NC will count toward their GPA for Ready.
