The Athletic Program at Bishop Ready is built upon tradition and excellence. Our athletic program provides
students with an opportunity to get involved in sports while being challenged inside the classroom. Our tradition is seen throughout our successes on the fields, in the gym, in the pool, on the track, on the lanes, on the courts, and
in the many athletes who receive scholarships to play their chosen sport on the college level.
At Bishop Ready, we take pride in the excellence of our programs, which is augmented by the presence of our alums and the continuous support of our community, giving the school its “family” atmosphere. As a 1993 alum, I know firsthand the tradition that is embedded in Bishop Ready athletics.
As Athletic Director, I am extremely proud of our Silver Knights and the professional manner in which they handle themselves as student-athletes. They embody the expectation of what it means to be a Silver Knight. Hard work and dedication lead to improvement and winning, but when winning does not happen, our students understand that with losing comes the opportunity to learn.
I am very proud to be involved with our student-athletes and to be part of the programs they represent. I want to thank everyone who supports Bishop Ready athletics. Without the support of the administration, staff, and proud alumni/ae, athletics would not be the strong, successful program it is today. The Ready community makes a huge difference in our programs and in our building. Because of this community, our facilities are always prepared and functional, allowing athletes to play the games they love. A final thank you is extended to all of the students at Bishop Ready. With all of the cheering, support, and friendships, Bishop Ready feels like one big family, which makes the success in our programs even better.
As your Athletic Director, I am dedicated to keeping the tradition of the Silver Knights alive and proud. We are a successful program and will keep being successful with all the great support we have around us. Go Silver Knights!
