Giving to Bishop Ready…

There are a variety of ways for you to donate to Bishop Ready High School.  We count on our generous benefactors in order to provide financial assistance to our students and to enable us to plan for the future so that future Silver Knights may reap the benefit of a Catholic education at Bishop Ready, made possible in part through your donations time, talent, or treasure.  In past years, donors have made possible not only financial aid but also have provided the Wehinger Peace Courtyard, the bench and funding for our Homeless Jesus statue, the new Wiser Innovation Center, the Cacchio Library, and the Gus Flichia Guidance Center.  No matter the size, all donations are used to improve the educational experience and opportunities for our students.

Annual Fund Donations (Ready Fund)

Our annual fund encompasses the Ready Fund which provides financial assistance to students who want to attend Bishop Ready High School.  Your donation can also be applied towards specific areas of giving including capital improvements, specific programs/teams, etc.

Whether you are a first-time donor or donate regularly, please know that all of us at Bishop Ready--administration and students--sincerely appreciate your gift!

Gifts to the Ready Annual Fund may be matched by the donor's employer; information on matching gifts varies by company and is available at the place of employment.

​Endowment Fund

An endowment fund requires that the principal remain intact in perpetuity, or for a defined period of time, and is generally set up to fund a specific interest.  ​In an endowment fund, the principal is invested to create a source of income for Bishop Ready.

​

Donors may set up their own endowment or contribute to an existing endowment benefitting Bishop Ready through The Catholic Foundation by contacting Scott Hartman.

Planned Giving

Planned Giving is a way that an individual can delegate funds or assets to Bishop Ready upon their passing. There are certain tax and financial benefits that an individual may be eligible to receive during his/her lifetime.  There are various financial instruments that can be used to best meet the needs of the donor. Bishop Ready encourages Planned Giving as a way to insure financial security for the donor while alive and for Bishop Ready’s students upon the donor’s death.

​Memorial Giving/Honor Giving

Gifts may be given in any amount in memory of or in honor of a loved one, special teacher/coach, friend, co-worker, or relative on any occasion (e.g., anniversary, birthday, graduation, etc.).  Ready Annual Fund gifts may be designated in memory of or in honor of someone and theatre seats, plaques, and bricks may also be purchased as in memory or in honor gifts.
